In your words... Tell us about your organization, business, initiative.
🌸 Alice’s Table - Magnolia Blooms is fun-filled floral arranging classes that bring people together to learn a new skill in a social and creative environment. Each attendee designs their own gorgeous floral arrangement and brings it home in a beautiful vase.
🌸 What makes my business unique from the other Alice's Table franchisees is that I put a unique spin on each event. I find fun and creative ways to draw a crowd and make every event a unique experience.
Tell us a bit about you and why you do what you do? Share your passions for your business, initiative, organization.
🌸 I launched Alice's Table - Magnolia Blooms after becoming hooked on attending these flower arranging workshops with my friends. The problem was, it was so hard to find events on the North Shore. So I decided to make it happen and bring the fun experience to others.
🌸 I actually was a floral manager for a few years while working part-time at Crosby's Marketplace and pursuing my Communications degree at Salem State University. When I graduated I left that position but have always had a passion for flowers.
What role do you think your business plays in supporting a more creative community?
🌸 As an attendee, Alice's Table floral workshops became my creative outlet. For me, it became a form of therapy during a highly stressful time being a full-time caregiver to two parents while managing my other business.
🌸 Alice's Table - Magnolia Blooms events create fun and innovative experiences not only for attendees but those creative businesses and organizations looking to attract and connect with the customer/potential customer base.
🌸 Alice's Table - Magnolia Blooms bridges the gap between the two worlds of creative beings (attendees) looking for fun and businesses and organizations looking for experiential marketing opportunities.
What was the last book you read that made an impact on you?
You are a Badass by Jen Sincero
What’s the one thing people would be surprised to learn about you our your business?
I am an introvert by nature. Which seems odd for someone who hosts public events and has another career that requires them to speak publicly often.
