Next up we will be visiting one of our favorite Non-profit organizations and members of the Collective, Root at Shetland Park in Salem.

Bring a gift! We are going to be filling a basket with some amazing things from different members of the Collective so please bring a gift that we can donate to Root! Root offers a rigorous 12-week, 200 hour, workforce training program that uses food preparation and service as its vehicle for teaching career and life skills. In the kitchen at Root, and those of our partner restaurants, hotels, and caterers, Program Partners learn and practice safe food preparation and handling, and many other direct skills that they will need to succeed. They attain industry-certified credentials that give them a sense of accomplishment - and an advantage in seeking employment. In Root’s classroom, they learn professional preparation and develop maturity and life skills that will help them to secure and thrive in their first and subsequent jobs.

We couldn't imagine a better start to our day than to hang out with some of our favorite people and we look forward to seeing some of you!

inFormal with Creative Collective & The Next Gen

Creative Collective and The Next Gen Network invite you to our first inFormal, a casual gathering aimed at bringing together creative-forward professionals across the North Shore. As the Next Gen says, "leave your business pitch at home," come as you are and meet someone new!

We're thrilled to have our first inFormal at Essex County Brewing in Peabody, MA. Beer is available for purchase in the tap room, and 3 Kitchens Catering will have some DELICIOUS BBQ bites for all! This event is sponsored by Phil Richard Insurance!

Creative Collective is a business program that provides opportunities for small businesses, entrepreneurs, non profits, organizations and individuals that are looking for a more modern and creative approach to business growth and brand awareness.

Our partners benefit from our ability to layer services that reach far beyond traditional marketing and business programs. Together we share a vision that thriving arts, culture and creative sectors makes the world a better place and support the sustainability of our communities and businesses.

Together we connect creativity, commerce and the community.

The Next Gen Network is a platform for professionals who are looking to grow their business network and community involvement.

What we’re about
Growing your business network: We proudly encourage those who attend our events to not only use the resources we provide for them to better their own business but to help others along the way to also grow and prosper in their own career. This is done mainly by connecting like-minded individuals and building relationships. We are committed to proactively connecting those who are actively involved with The Next Gen Network.

Community Involvement: In addition to making worthwhile connections, many attendees have expressed interest in getting involved in their community but lack the resources, knowledge, or push to make it happen. That’s where we step in. With connections to local chambers, non-profits, and other wonderful organizations, we are thrilled to connect professionals with volunteering opportunities to give back to their community or a cause they are passionate about. A win-win-win for all. (They’re happy, we’re happy, and the organization is happy – and guess what…we love happy).

Our theory:
Doing business with people you enjoy brings greater fruits from your labor and a more genuine relationship or long-term referral source. The new wave of professionals are moving in and we want to connect you to our existing networks to help you progress in your career or transition of a job.

The goal:
Bridge the gap between surrounding counties, empower professionals by introducing them to our existing connections, and simply making sure everyone has someone to talk to. Create a safe, fun space for all types of businesses and workers to make what they want of the situation. Whether you’re established or just getting started–if you’re looking to expand your network, this is a good place to be.
