The Double Eagle was built in Boothbay, Maine in 1973.  Originally used for lobstering, she was converted for passenger service in 1986 and used for fishing parties in the Falmouth on Cape Cod.   In 1995 she was moved to Manchester-by-the-Sea, then finally to Beverly in 2018. Now she serves primarily as a charter boat for Harbor Cruises, Sightseeing Tours, Fishing and Lobstering Excursions, and other private charters.

Measuring 36 feet in length and 12 feet wide the Double Eagle is Coast Guard certified for up to 49 passengers and comfortably seats 25 people for a leisurely cruise.  The vessel is inspected for safety annually by the Coast Guard, fully insured, and manned by Coast Guard certified captains.
